FIRST PIP MEETING Tuesday, August 28, 2000
Starting time / Location: 7:15 pm at Carm and Jack Iulianella’s house in Webster, New York
Attending: Carm / Jack Iulianella, Anthony / Jean DiGiovanni, Susan Tribunella Casserino, Frank / Laurel Loiacono
There were 7 in attendance at our first meeting, held at Carm and Jack Iulianella’s house in Webster, New York. Carm Iulianella called the meeting in hopes a new chapter could be started in the Rochester area. The purpose of our organization is to share, encourage, support, and assist in the study of our Italian Roots, Culture and Genealogy.
The following officers were elected (volunteered) at the meeting:

Frank Loiacono – Secretary
Resolutions:
1. Although no money was collected, it was resolved that there
would be a $5 dues to be collected to cover any office supplies / stamps.
2. The next meeting would be Saturday, November 4th, Frank / Laurel
would find a restaurant. Suggestions: LaRocca’s, Fedele’s, Grana’s.
3. Lunch will be from 12 noon to 1 PM, followed by the meeting.
There was some general
information exchanged by the group: what Comune…etc. The discussion was
continued over coffee. The meeting ended about 8:45 pm.
