Steven M. Wiezbicki of Westminster, Colorado is writing a history of the 169th Infantry Regiment New York State Volunteers and their service during the American Civil War of 1861-1865. ICKE, JOHN P. - Age, 19 years. Enlisted, September 4, 1862, at Lansingburgh, to serve three years; mustered in as corporal, Co. K, October 6, 1862; absent sick, since May 1, 1864, at Hampton Hospital, Va., and at muster-out of company; also borne as Ickes.
ILER, MARTIN O. - Age, 21 years. Enlisted, January 2, 1864, at Troy, to serve three years; mustered in as private, Co. D, January 18, 1864; promoted, corporal, no date; mustered out, June 26, 1865, at Raleigh, N. C.; prior service, Co. D, Second Infantry.
INGLES, PETER. - Age, 29 years. Enlisted, January 11, 1864, at Nassau, to serve three years; mustered in as private, Co. A, January 18, 1864; discharged, May 9, 1865, at Hart's Island, New York Harbor; also borne as Ingold.
INGRAHAM, ALEXANDER. - Age, 37 years. Enlisted at Plattsburgh, to serve one year, and, mustered in as private, Co. G, September 23, 1864; absent at rendezvous for recruits at muster-out of company.
IRWIN, GEORGE R. - Age, 24 years. Enlisted, March 13, 1865, at Rochester, to serve one year; mustered in as private, Co. B, March 22, 1865; mustered out with company, July 19, 1865, at Raleigh, N. C.
