NAGAL, MICHAEL. - Private, Co. D, One Hundred and Forty-second Infantry; transferred to Co. D, this regiment, June 7, 1865; mustered out with company, July 19, 1865, at Raleigh, N. C.; also borne as Nagle.

NEAL, GEORGE. - Age, 20 years. Enlisted at Angelica, to serve three years, and mustered in as private, Co. G, March 3, 1865; mustered out with company, July 19, 1865, at Raleigh, N. C.

NEDDO, JOSEPH. - Age, 28 years. Enlisted, September 16, 1862, at Whitehall, to serve three years; mustered in as private, Co. F, October 6, 1862; killed in action, June 30, 1864 near Petersburgh, Va.

NEILS, JAMES. - Age, 18 years. Enlisted, August 22, 1862, at Troy, to serve three years; mustered in as private, Co. I, October 6, 1862; absent, in hospital, since January 16, 1865, at Fort Monroe, Va., and at muster-out of company; also borne as Neales.

NELSON, JOSEPH. - Age, 18 years. Enlisted, September 4, 1862, at Lisbon, to serve three years; mustered in as private, Co. F, October 6, 1862; promoted corporal, no date; discharged, June 28, 1865, at Albany, N. Y.

NERO, JOHN. - Private, Co. D, One Hundred and Forty-second Infantry; transferred to Co. D, this regiment, June 7, 1865; mustered out with company, July 19, 1865, at Raleigh, N. C.

NEWBURY, JOHN. - Age, 18 years. Enlisted at Troy, to serve three years, and mustered in as private, Co. I, August 16, 1864; mustered out with company, July 19, 1865, at Raleigh, N. C.

NORTHRUP, JOSEPH B. - Age, 33 years. Enlisted at Plattsburgh, to serve one year, and mustered in as private, Co. G, September 17, 1864; absent, at rendezvous for recruits, at muster-out of company.

NORTON, CHARLES C. - Age, 39 years. Enlisted, September 4, 1862, at Fort Edward, to serve three years; mustered in as private, Co. E, September 25, 1862; deserted, April 2, 1863, at Martindale Barracks, Washington, D. C.

NORRIS, ALFRED M. - Age, 22 years. Enlisted, at Rochester, to serve three years, and mustered in as private, Co. K, March 14, 1865; mustered out with company, July 19, 1865, at Raleigh, N. C.
