ULINE, BERNARD S. - Age, 18 years. Enlisted, August 25, 1862, at Sand Lake, to serve three years; mustered in as private, Co. H, October 6, 1862; died, November 8, 1864, at West Sand Lake, N. Y.

UNDERWOOD, CHRISTOPHER. - Age, 43 years. Enlisted, August 24, 1862, at Fort Edward, to serve three years; mustered in as private, Co. E, September 25, 1862; transferred, January 16, 1865, to Veteran Reserve Corps.

UNDERWOOD, JAMES B. - Age, 22 years. Enlisted at Troy, to serve one year, and mustered in as private, Co. I, August 30, 1864; discharged, May 31, 1865, at Foster Hospital, New Berne, N. C.

UPPER, BENJAMIN. - Age, 34 years. Enlisted at Lockport, to serve one year, and mustered in as private, Co. H, March 13, 1865; mustered out with company, July 19, 1865, at Raleigh, N. C.

USHER, CHARLES S. - Age, 19 years. Enlisted, January 5, 1864, at Troy, to serve three years; mustered in as private, Co. D, January 15, 1864; discharged, June 19, 1865.
