This photograph was contributed to this website by Shelley Cardiel. Shelley writes, "I've `rescued' an old photograph of Bessie N. BRENENSTUHL which was taken at the C. C. Schoonmaker Studio in Troy, New York. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1870s or 1880s, with Bessie only an infant at the time. In addition to her name, someone has also written `To Grandma, compliments of' on the back of the photograph. I'm hoping to locate someone from this BRENENSTUHL family so that this precious old photograph can be returned to the family. Thanks, Shelley."
