In the name of God Amen. I, PATRICK CAREY of the City of Troy in the County of Rensselaer

and declare this instrument to be my last Will and Testament, in manner and form

__ First, I will and direct that all of my just debts, if any, and my funeral charges
be paid by my Executrix hereinafter named, out of my personal estate, as soon after
my decease as conveniently may be.
__ Second, I give, devise and bequeath unto by beloved wife BRIDGET CAREY, all the
rest and residue of my estate, real and personal, of every kind and description,
and wheresoever the same may be situated, including my house and lot of land situate
on the East side of Third Street, between Jackson and Van Buren Streets in the City
of Troy aforesaid, to have and to hold the same and every part and parcel thereof
unto her my said wife, and to her heirs forever:
__ Having the most implicit and abiding trust and confidence in my said wife, that

PATRICK and JAMES and the survivors of them as will best comport with the wants and
comforts of each and every of them at all times during their lives, and the lives of
their children who may survive them.
__ Third: If my said wife shall at any time after my decease see fit to marry again,
then and in that case the devises and bequests hereinbefore made by me to her shall
cease immediately after such remarriage, and be no longer continued to her, but,
subject to her claim and right to Dower [Ni?--] my property which the Statutes of the
State provide for her by law, I give, devise and bequeath all of my said estate real
and personal as aforesaid unto such of my said children as shall then be living,
and to their respective heirs forever, in equal shares;
__ And in case either of my said children shall have died previous to the re-marriage
of my said wife as aforesaid, leaving issue surviving them, then I give and devise to
such surviving child or children, in equal shares, the portion or interest in my
said estate, real and personal, that their parent would have been entitled to, had he,
she or they been living at the time of such re-marriage of my said wife.
Lastly, I hereby nominate, constitute and appoint my said wife BRIDGET CAREY the sole
Executrix of this my last Will and Testament with full power and authority to sell
and dispose of at public or private sale, the whole, or any part of the real estate
I may own, or be seized of at the time of my decease, and to execute good and sufficient
deeds of Conveyance of the same, as fully, in all respects, as I might or could do
if living and personally present at the doing thereof.
__ In witness thereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal to these presents this
