the 1850 Mortality Schedule for the Quarantine (Marine)Hospital. It lists over 350 Irish Immigrants who died on Staten Island shortly after arriving here during the Irish famine. It is theorized that most of them were buried in the Marine Cemetery which is now part of the Silver Lake Golf Course. Thank you so much, Jennifer!
