Amos Becker Obituary

Amos Becker, an aged resident of Gallupville, died very suddenly at the home of his brother, Andrew, Thursday afternoon, Nov. 27. Mr. Becker had gone to call on his brother and was stricken and died before medical aid reached him. He was born in the town of Middleburgh seventy-six years ago, but had lived at Gallupville for the past few years. He was united in marriage to Mrs. Flora Becker, who died a few years ago, and since her death he made his home with his step-daughter, Mrs. Martin Daring. He was a member of the M. E. Church. he is survived by several brothers and one sister. Funeral was held from the late home Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, The Rev. D. C. Abbott officiating. Burial in the Gallupville Cemetery.
