     Gallupville.—Mrs. Emma Zimmer died at her home near this village on Thursday evening, Nov. 8, Mrs. Zimmer suffered a stroke over three years ago from which she never recovered. Four weeks previous to her death she was taken with the grippe which confined her to her bed. She was born in the town of Berne Feb. 14, 1854, and was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sanford Merselis. In 1876 she was united in marriage to the late Austin Zimmer and had spent all of her married life on the farm where she died. She is survived by two sisters Mrs. Ella Rosecrans of Brooklyn and Mrs. Carrie Mattice of Altamont and one niece Mrs. C. J. Allen of Brooklyn. Funeral was held from her late home Sunday, Nov. 11, at 2 P. M., the Rev. R. E. Dunckel, pastor of the M. E. Church, officiating. Burial in the Gallupville Cemetery.
