Florence B. Cornell, wife of Vernor Cornell, died very suddenly of heart disease at her home in Gilboa, July 28th. She was born November 29, 1903, at Conesville, the daughter of Leonard Brainard and Marietta (Scoville) Smith. Funeral services in charge of Sutton’s Funeral Home were conducted from her late home Sunday afternoon. Rev. Wm. Fox of West Fulton officiating. Internment was made in Gilboa Cemetery. Mrs. Cornell is survived by her parents, six brothers, two sisters, three children, Lawrence, aged ten, Lyndon, six, and Gladys, three, as well as other relatives.
