Ford L. Nickerson obituary

     Ford L. Nickerson, 70, of Gilboa died unexpectedly Oct. 20, 1977, at Cobleskill Community Hospital.
     Owner and operator of Nickerson's Park Campground in Gilboa, he was married to Aryilla Caulson.
     Born June 25, 1907, in Broome Center, he was the son of Franklin and Alita Schaefer Nickerson. He was a member of the Gilboa Masonic Lodge and Lions Club, member and trustee of Gilboa Methodist Church, member of Camp owners of New York State and a director of Leatherstocking Country.
     Funeral services were held on Monday at 2 p.m. in the Decker Funeral Home, Prattsville, with Rev. Cook officiating.
     Burial was made in Keyserkill Cemetery.
     Survivors are his widow, mentioned above, a sister, Mrs. Geo. (Alberti) Duncan, seven neices and two nephews.
