This Indenture, Made this 30th day of March in the year of our
Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty five between Joseph Karker of
Carlisle NY of the first part, and Catherine Elizabeth Karker of the same place
of the second part.
Witnesseth, That the said party of the first part, in consideration of the sum of --- Dollars, to him in hand paid by the said party of the second part, the receipt whereof is hereby confessed and acknowledged, hath bargained, sold, remised and Quit-Claimed, and By These Presents, doth bargain, sell, remise and Quit-Claim unto the said party of the second part and to her heirs and assigns forever, All that certain piece or parcel of land, being all the right title and interest of the party of the first part in the Homestead farm on which the party of the first lives with his brother Solomon D Karker, Containing 142 acres more or less - and bounded generally as follows: On the north by the highway and lands of Solomon Karker - Easterly by Solomon Karker, and Esther Fichter land; Southerly by lands of George Osterhout, Jacob H Youngs, Jacob & Marcus Angle & Horace Wakeman; and on t6he west by lands of Abram Osterhout - Also the right title and interest of the said party of the first part in the following described land; all that certain piece or lot of wood land situate lying and being in the town of Cobleskill and Seward in the county and state aforesaid, which said piece or lot of land hereby conveyed or intended to take in more particulars described by lines designated by marked trees dividing the piece or lot, of land conveyed from the lands adjoining owned by the several individuals hereinafter named, to wit - on the north and west the premises conveyed are bounded by the lands of Jedadiah Miller; on the south by lands of Lathau Dana; on the east by the lands of Jacob C. Osterhout which premises conveyed contain by estimation twenty three acres of land be the same more or less - the description above is taken from a deed executed by William Hilyar to Solomon D Karker and Joseph Karker Dec 17, 1855 & recorded in Schoharie County Clerks office on the 3rd day of June 1885, in Book No 31 of Deeds - Page 209
Also in consideration aforesaid the party of the first part hereby sells & conveys all the right title and interest he has the hay grain & produce of the foregoing lands; all the farming implements and tools used on said farm also the stocks, horses & cattle Etc ordered heretofore by him & his brother Solomon D Karker

Together with all and singular the hereditaments and
appurtenances thereto belonging or in any wise appertaining, and the reversion
and reversions, remainder and remainder, rents, issues and profits thereof, and
all the estate, right, title, interest, claim and demand whatsoever of the said
part of the first part, either in law or equity, of, in and to the above bar
gained premises, with the said hereditaments and appurtances, to have and to
hold the said premises & property to the said part of the second part, her heirs
and assigns, to the sole and only proper benefit and behoof of the said part of
the second part heirs and assigns forever.
