Lawrence G. Reno
b. in Cherry Valley, Otsego co., NY on Aug. 22, 1829,
son of Peter Reno (b. Jan. 16, 1793)
& Adelia Eaton (b. Sep. 29, 1802 in Cherry Valley, NY & d. July 6, 1875).
Father of Peter Reno (b. 1793) was Simeon Reno (b. Dutchess co., NY
on Jul. 7, 1758, Rev. War soldier) &
mother of Peter was Dorcas Brockway (b. Aug. 25, 1769).
Father of Simeon Reno was Peter Reno, the immigrant ancestor
born in Germany (on French border) & died in Dutchess co., NY.

Lawrence G. Reno was married on Mar. 9, 1851 to Delia Wheeler
(b. Boonville, Oneida co., NY).  Had son Charlie b. Oct. 7, 1853.
L. G. Reno was Captain in 81st Reg. National Guards, 17th brigade.
In 1865 was made Lt.-colonel & in 1867 was colonel of the regiment.
Came to Schuyler co., NY in Mar. 1869, a dairy farmer.

Delia Wheeler's father was born at Boonville, NY on Feb. 12, 1792,
served in War of 1812, died Feb. 15, 1855.
Her mother was Eliza Blackman, married on Oct. 17, 1821.
Delia's grandfather "came from the East" and settled
in Boonville, NY and he died in March 1858, aged 86yrs.
