The cemetery became completely overgrown.
Update August 1999:
Nancy Rogers reported that this cemetery was in use from 1849 until 1930,
but it had really fallen into disrepair. Her father Orman Goodyear Charles
was trying to get this cemetery cleaned on a twice-yearly basis
and also planning to get the Charles headstones repaired.
James Charles was a veteran of the war of 1812.
Update August 2007:
The cemetery has been cleared. In 2004 the cemetery
was cleared by Sharon Bradford, her husband Thomas and two of
her daughters, Heather and Cheyenne. It is now being maintained
by the
Trustees of the Cayutaville Church and also by Ray and Linda Lanning.
