Our next meeting is Tuesday, December 9 -- our Christmas party with guest speaker Rensselaer County Historian Kathy Sheehan.

The Sand Lake Historical Society is a local history society formed in 1974 in anticipation of the Bicentennial Year, 1976. It was granted an absolute charter by the New York State Board of Regents in 1979. The mission of the Sand Lake Historical Society is to educate and promote preservation and conservation of the history and culture of the Town of Sand Lake and the surrounding area.

  • Sale of our publications
  • Community functions such as raffles and appraisal days.

Meetings are usually held the second Tuesday of each month, beginning at 7:30 p.m., at the Sand Lake Town Hall, 8428 NY 66, Sand Lake, New York 12153. || Map and Directions || Schedule of upcoming meetings || List of past programs
