When I visited in 1993, David's grave was almost covered with vegetation. Millicent's was deeper in the undergrowth but we dug it out enough to read it. Mahala's was still upright and completely visible in a well kept area. In 1995, her stone was still visible but weeds were growing all around it. In the cemetery list at the historical society, the reading for this stone was incorrect. Evans Williamson is written on the front of the stone but along the top edge it clearly reads Mahala. However it is easy to miss it.

My cousin visited the cemetery before I did and saw the stone for Lucinda Robbins.

I think there must be other burials in the vegetation. It would be interesting to clear it out. He told me that when he visited in the 1980's, part of the cemetery was under water.

Comments on graves listed:

There are two entries for George Chisholm and his wife Ruth. I believe from census records that the correct dates for George are 1806-1895. Ruth was the sister of David L. and they were the children of David Williamson [buried in West Cameron] and his 1st wife Nancy Gage.

Dr. S. D.[should be S. C.] Williamson: Seymour C. was the son of David the elder and his second wife Elizabeth Rulofsen and half brother to David L. I believe Mary E. Williamson was Seymour's second wife Mary Parker.

Dr. F. D. Williamson: Fred was son of S. C. and Mary Parker.

Alvah H. Williamson 1854-1939: son of William C. and grandson of David and Nancy Gage. Alvah married Ann Brady but I think the Mary A. who is buried with him is Ann and Charles and Robert were their sons. I have not found William C.'s burial place but I suspect he is also at Riverside.
