Orva Hendrick - killed last Sat (June 18) ae 70 yrs - a wife - 2 sons: William E. of Albany - Charles of Elmira - Hornby burial.
Daniel Tensler, died Fri. Sept. 13, 1895 at home of son in law - E. J. Walling, aged 85 years - came in 1825 from Candor, Tioga Co., - leaves widow - son E.D. Tensler of Thurston & 2 daus: Mrs. E. J. Walling & Mrs. T.W. Denneny of Emporium, Pa - buried Hope Cem.
Samuel H. Rumsey died - Oct 1st age 87, S. Oak Hill a wife 3 sons & 5 daus - all survive.
Thomas Dee died last Sat (paper Oct. 8, 1895), at dau. Mrs. M. Collins home ae 97 yrs - Corning burial.
Lila Vine of Dansville - 2nd. dau. of N. J. Vine - died (paper Oct. 28, 1895)
Mrs Josephine Reed, died last wed (paper Oct. 28, 1895) - burial Hope Cemetery - 6 sons 3 daus - Samuel, James, Rufus, Arch & Nettie - reside at home - Husband killed by cars some years ago.
Mrs. John Backus - sister of late Mrs. Capt Knox, of Rockford, Ill died - (paper Oct. 28, 1895).
Col. James S. McKay died (paper date Apr 14, 1896)
Ira Burns - died Sunday, cancer of the stomach (paper May 26, 1896)
Mrs. Eliza Palmer, widow of late Joseph Palmer of Coopers Plains, died Sat. dau. Mrs. E. B. Ross of Campbell - Coopers burial.
Mrs. Amasa Clark - died Mon, June 22, 1896 near 80 yrs. at home of grandaughter - Mrs. Eugene Emery, dau. of Aden Pratt, one son, JOhn P. Clark & 3 daus - Mrs. Theodore H. Barrett of Campbell - Mrs. David Kimball of Wis - Mrs. Frank Lacoss of Crystal Springs - Jared Pratt was a brother - her husband died about 30 yrs ago - Hope Cem. Burial.
Carlos B. French - died at home 5th ward of Corning - Sat. last (June 23, 1896 paper), age 38 wife former Minnie Shults, aged father & mother, one sister - Mrs. E. L. Rendt of Emporium Pa.  Painted Post burial.

Harvey Collins Jr., age 16 died last Friday at his fathers home, Curtis (Oct. 4, 1897 paper)
Maggie Shaver Barrett, wife of Charles H. Barrett, died Tues Oct. 5 (1897), age 38 yrs - her husband & 2 children by a former marriage - Clyde age 15 & Rose age 18 survive - burial at Avoca.
Hon. Charles S. Longwell, died Thurs. at Bath (Nov. 2, 1897 paper) grandfather of Mrs. Robert C. Turnbull.
Philip Moss & Ella Mae Sterling were married Nov 8, 1897 at home of her parents - Mr. & Mrs. S.H. Sterling by Rev. E. P. Salmon.
Emmons W. Abel died Nov. 28, 1897 age 72 years (near Campbell) a soldier in late war. Co. D. 141st leaves wife & 1 dau - Mrs. John Scot of Tyrone.
Mrs. Marcus Gaylord, died Fri. Dec 17 (1897), age 43 at her East Campbell home, her husband - 2 sons, 2 daus - an aged father Thomas Shannon & one brother - Eugene Shannon of Painted Post. - Burial at Hornby Forks.
