NY, as follows: Emeline V. Mosher. Emeline V. Mosher, 79, Route
12, died Monday at Samaritan Keep Home, where she had been a patient since Thursday.
Mrs. Mosher was a self-employed seamstress for many years on outer Bradley
Street, where she resided for 57 years. She had also been a foster parent.
Born Sept. 23, 1923, in the town of Champion, daughter of Clinton and
Charlotte Brotherton Hubbard, she married Mason Mosher on Sept. 11, 1942, in
the Methodist Church parish house in Lowville with the Rev. A.B. Corbin officiating.
Mrs. Mosher was a member of the Perch River, Jefferson County Pomona
and New York State granges, was a founding member of the Parish Road Home Bureau,
a 4-H leader for many years and a member of the 4 River Valleys Historical Society.
She enjoyed taking bus trips in the Northeast.
Surviving besides her husband are two sons and their wives, Earl and
Frances, and Marc and Jennifer, all of Watertown; a daughter and her husband,
Rose and Phillip Scott, Chaumont; two brothers, Vernon Hubbard, Carthage, and
Clinton Hubbard, Mexico; a sister, Viola Souva, Fulton, four grandchildren and
several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Three brothers, Frederick, Earl and Edgar Hubbard, died before her.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter,
with the Rev. Larry Cronk officiating. Burial will be in Parish Road Cemetery.
Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral
home.
Donations may be made to Hospice of Jefferson County or the American
Cancer Society. She was buried in Parish Road cemetery. Why

"Mrs. Mosher is a self-employed seamstress and homemaker.
"Mr. Mosher, a semi-retired dairy farmer, operated the family farm on
outer Bradley Street Road for 42 years, and continues to board heifers and operates
a hay sales business.
"Mr. and Mrs. Mosher are 25- year members of the Perch River Grange and
members of Pomona, state and national Granges. They are former leaders in the
4-H and are members of the 4 River Valleys Historical Society. Mrs. Mosher is
a founding member of the Parish Road Home Bureau with a 48-year membership. Mr.
Mosher has been a member for 30 years and is a past president of the Parish Road
Cemetery Association.
