Before reaching the age of 21 he was united by marriage to Miss Sally Moore, a native

knew her; although somewhat reserved in society she was kind and charitable to all
and in the home circle or around the sick bed she was ever ready to sacrifice her own
comfort for the good of others. It will be a great satisfaction to her surviving relatives to
know that during her last illness she received that loving care and kind attention which

could accomplish was done to win her back to health, but in vain. Five of the family still
survive who mourn her loss. Also a large circle of relatives and friends east and west.
