Ira Porter 6/17/1847 - 10/17/1924. born in Grahamsville, Son of Harry and Catherine Black Porter.
Mustered in January 1, 1864, serving in General Custer's Brigade.
He mustered out on July 1, 1865 and married Helen Hodge at Neversink. Children were Katherine, Nellie A., Inez, Harry and Blake. He is buried in Livingston Manor.
