Driscoll

First Generation:

Dennis Driscoll and Margaret ?, Ireland, and had at least one child, Dennis.

Second Generation:

Dennis Driscoll (b. 1807 Ireland - d. 1897 Green Island, NY) m. Mary Farrell (b. ? Ireland, d. 1880-1897, Green Island, NY), and had 5 children: John, Cornelius, James, Frank and Margaret. Dennis worked at the Gilbert Car Works, Green Island. Dennis and Mary are buried in St. Agnes Cemetery, Cohoes.

Third Generation:

John A. Driscoll (b. 1858 New York City – d. 1927 Green Island) m. Mary Devlin (b. 1850 Ireland - d. 1882 Green Island). Mary died of pneumonia at age 32 and is buried in Calvary Cemetery, Cohoes. They had 4 children: Anna, John Henry, James, and a female who died as a baby. John A. was a brakeman and a gate tender for the Delaware and Hudson Railroad, Green Island. Following his wife Mary’s death, he remarried Susan Foley of Troy in 1888, at St. Mary’s Church, Troy. John is buried in St. Agnes Cemetery, Cohoes.

Fourth Generation:

James relocated to Buffalo and married Catherine Hildebrandt.John H. m. Mary ? and had 5 children: John, Frank, James, Cornelius and Margaret.  Anna Driscoll m. James Butler.
