This is a multi-volume set of books, and each volume is indexed. However, the following Table of Contents identifies those biographical sketches contained in Volume 3 only. The "Page Nos." give the starting and ending page numbers on which each sketch can be found. Where there is a "Y" under the column headed "Picture? (Y/N)" then a photo of the individual in the biographical sketch can also be found in the volume. Pictures are usually found within the page range of the sketch unless otherwise noted in the "Comments" column.

Please note that this book is often called a "mug book". According to Rhonda R. McClure, genealogist and writer: "Mug books are those published county and town histories that were published in the late 1800s to the early 1900s. Those families and individuals highlighted in the book usually were there because they were the more prominent citizens."
