I am looking for information on the parents of Arthur Henry Millon (Milen) born 28 April 1865 in Yonkers, NY. He had twin sisters, Sarah and Mary E. The information I have gives their parents names as John Milen and Elizabeth Ann Perney (Perry). She supposedly died two weeks after Arthur was born. Any help would be appreciated. Seeking information regarding Michael Devlin, born in Ireland, circa 1812, died in West Farms March 1863. He apparently was an "innkeeper" in West Farms. When he died he left his children (and wife Mary Clark) in the care of Hugh Lunny, a farmer in West Farms. His children were Michael E., Susan, John and James (son Patrick died in 1861). I am interested in acquiring the succession, or some details from the succession of Romanzo Warwick Montgomery, who moved to a place called High Bridge, possibly High Cottage, in Westchester County, about 1860, and died there October 4, 1867. He was president of the New Orleans Canal and Banking Company for many years. His daughter married Chief Justice of the United States Edward Douglas White in 1894. I want to know the size of the estate and if there is any reference to his parents. I would also like to know where High Bridge or High Cottage is located. I am researching my gg grandfather, Tobias LENT. Born 1784 in Westchester Co., NY, where he resided until about 1835 when he moved to Tioga Co., PA. His wife's name was Sarah, b. 1792, NY. Is it possible to find history on my ancesters? Johannis DYCKMAN born 1619 came to Westchester Co. White Plains, New York in 1651 on the ship, Waterhont. He arrived from Amsterdam, Holland; wife Maria BOSYNS, and children. His father stayed in Holland, Joris DYCKMAN born 1585. I'm trying to find information on Joris -- who were his parents, he was born in Coesfeld, Westphalia, West Germany. Searching for relatives of Catherine (HOOKS) BUTTERLY, Catherine had a son James. She had relatives in New Hartford, NY, Camden, Oswego Counties. I do not know anything about the BUTTERLY family, Catherine's husband's name or her children except that James BUTTERLY apparently lived in Peekskill, NY when the following obituary was published in August 24, 1941, in your local (?) paper. I would like to correspond or have help finding relatives of Catherine HOOKS BUTTERLY would lived and died in your area. The Obituary of Catherine BUTTERLY reads: August 24, 1941 ? in what Newspaper. Mother of James Butterly Dies, Was Born 86 years ago in Ireland; Mrs Catherine Butterly was born at Eyrecourt, County Galway, Ireland in 1855 and came to America when she was ten years of age (approx 1865). The family resided at Camden, Oneida County, for seven years (1872) and then came to Peekskill. Mrs Butterly resided in Peekskill, NY since coming to this area. *****Note: I am not sure that her parents came to Peekskill with her, although they were in Camden area. There names were John HOOKS and Margaret BUTLER HOOKS of Eyrecourt, Galway, Ireland******

Abraham GOLD (b. ca 1857, Grodno, Belarus; d. 1920-1925, NY) was married two times. From his first wife, name unknown, he had at least 6 children: Aria/Arie/Aron "Arel" (married Chaie "Chaike" ???), Harry (never married), Resha "Rose" (married ??? LEVINE), Sarah (married William BLINDER), Lieb/Level/Leo "Louis" (married Yehudit "Ida" KAGAN), and Malka "Molly" (married Jake KAPLAN). Louis, born 1882-1883, died Abt. 1949 in Yonkers. Abraham's second wife was Mary ???. There are no known children from this marriage. Any further information about this family would help us find our family connection. Note: the surname may have had many spellings: Goldglit, Goldglid, Goldgleet, Goldgleat, Goldglied, etc.

Looking for Ryck Abrahamsen later adopted surname Van LENT. A miller in Yonkers area late 1600's
I am seeking anyone with information concerning my grandparents, Francesco and Carmela Vaccaro. They arrived from Bonefro, Campobasso, Italy in late December, 1916. To my knowledge, they left Naples, Italy aboard the S.S. Patria, arriving at Ellis Island(?) December 25 or 26, 1916. They then proceeded to New Rochelle, where they stayed a short time, before heading to Ellwood City, PA. Eventually, they settled in Youngstown, Ohio. Francesco, (b. February 27, 1892) was a shoemaker. Carmela (b. September, 1891) was a seamstress. They also had one daughter, Filomena (b. August 10, 1911) traveling with them. My grandmother was pregnant when she arrived here and gave birth to my uncle, Antonio, August 10, 1917. She may have also given birth to another son, Patrick, (b. January 1921 or 1922), while still in New Rochelle. Francesco had one brother, Nicola (Nicholas) who was then living in and remained in New Rochelle. The information I know is as follows: Abraham Horton b/abt 1811 married Elizabeth Hadley b/abt 1805 they were married about 1834 and had seven children Elizabeth A b1834, Annie b 1836, Jeremiah b1838, Abraham b1840, William H b1842, Sarah b1844 and Benjamine b 1846.
