CHAPLIN descendants in New Zealand- I am searching for all descendants of James CHAPLIN (1818-1897).
He was married thrice.

Family were in Invercargill, New Zealand up to around turn of the century, and were orginally from Cambuslang in Scotland. The patriarch, James CHAPLIN, died in Dumferline, Scotland, in 1897. EAMES, Joseph- Originally from Londonderry. Any information on Joseph EAMES, born in Foyle road, Londonderry in 1883. Joseph EAMES, died 4 June 1919 in Auckland Hospital and was buried on 6 June at Waikumete Cemetery. He was a returned soldier, perhaps serving with the Auckland regiment. GIJZEN and VAN DER PLAS Family Trees- In my Van der Plas family research I have found 12 individuals in New Zealand with the Van der Plas name and would like to find out if they are in some way related to our family. I am Kless Gyzen, of Dutch decent, whose mother was a van der Plas. My mother, Willemijntje, was the first child born to Willem van der Plas and Hermanna Catharine Muller in 1901, one of 7 children. Other children were Gerard, Gerardina, Willem, Hendrika, Lourens and Jansje. WILLIAMS, M.W. - Originally from New Zealand. Looking for the relatives of the late Sub-Lieutenant (A) M.W.WILLIAMS (RNZNVR) killed 28 May 1944 while serving at HMS Ringtail.
He was making a camera attack on a target at 3000 feet when his Firefly spun off at a tight turn, recovered, spun off in the opposite direction and crashed at Holmeswood about eight miles from the airfield.
