IN MEMORIAM
Three sad years have passed today,
Since my dear Katie was called away,
The trial was hard, the blow severe,
To part with one I loved so dear.
Yes, dear Katie, how I miss you,
None but my aching heart can tell;
But all my hope is on the future,
When I shall meet you once again
We shall sleep, but not for ever,
There will be a glorious dawn;
We shall meet to part, no never,
On the resurrection morn.
