Alexander Turnbull Library: Holds the nation's collections of books, photos, letters, drawings, maps, music and sound recordings that documents history.
Timeframes: Online database of heritage images is part of the Library as well.
Archives New Zealand: Resources include immigration records, passenger lists, probates, coroners' reports, notices of intention to marry and military service records prior to 1913.
National Library: Holds the country's electoral rolls. The general collections include New Zealand newspapers, publications, serials, maps, prints, posters and calendars, which are made readily available in several ways. 10,000 New Zealand publications dating from the nineteenth century are available to assist in family research.
New Zealand Defence Force: Records for Navy, Army and Air Force; for those who served with the Armed Forces from the Boer War to the present day.
Bay of Plenty Resources:
