I will try to keep this page up to let you know what new goodies I've added since my last update. No promises, Sometimes I just get into the "zone" and just start adding stuff. By the time I'm finished, I have no idea where all of it is. :-). The best judge of what is new or not is to check the date at the bottom of each page you visit. It should have the date that page was last updated.

August 2012

• Added the Collings Cemetery It is memtioned in the Evan Stivers Book on Adams Co. OH. and is located under the water tower in West Union. Many
  Collings and a few other families buried there. I do not have any other information on this cemetery at this time.
• Added Clark Blake to the surname page. He is researching the Grooms and Blake families.

January 2012

• We now have a Facebook Group for people researching their roots in Adams County, Ohio. Come join us, share your brick walls, upload photos and documents, and tell your family story. You can find us at: https://www.facebook.com/groups/102546819867304/

• Added a "What's New" Page.
• Added more links to Newspaper Articles page. (I need volunteers to scour through old, pre 1923, Adams County newspapers and either transcribe or better yet scan individual articles that they feel are interesting, and/or important.
• Updated and corrected broken links on the Public/Vital Records, Links, Index, and cemetery pages.
• Added office hours, phone and email contact information for the Adams County Genealogical Society on my "Useful Addresses" page.
• Added a link to the 1907 book, "Serpent Mound, Adams County, Ohio." to my Historical Sites/Interest page.
• Added the book, " Pioneer record and reminiscences of the early settlers and settlement of Fayette County, Ohio"  By Rufus Putnam to my Out of Print Books page. Page 54 of this book mentions the genealogy of an early Adams County Pioneer.
• Added several new photos to the Ailshire Family Photo Album.
• Added new photos to the Douglas Family Photo Album.
• Added a link to Adams County Travel and Visitor's Bureau on my Historical Sites/Interest page.
