RICHARD P. ALTENBURGER

 Russells Point - RICHARD P. ALTENBURGER, 73, died at 8:25 a.m. Sept. 19,
2003, at Plus Health Care Center, Lima. 

He was born Aug. 29, 1930, in Auglaize County to John J. and Ruby L. Miller
Altenburger, who preceded him in death. 

Mr. Altenburger retired from the State of Ohio Department of Transportation
as a right-of-way agent. He was a Navy veteran  World war II . Survivors
include a son; Timothy (Kelly) Altenburger of Wapakoneta;  three daughters,
Christine (Alberto) Martinez of Perrysburg, Cathy (Gary) Suever of Delphos
and Cynthia (Tim) Madison of Greenbrier, Tenn; a brother, John Altenburger
of Wapakoneta; seven grandchildren, Auna, Joshua and Tara Altenburger, 
Eric and Cara Suever, Cody Madison and Josefina Martinez; and three
great-grandchildren. 

Services will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Van Horn Funeral Home, Lakeview.
The Rev. Bryan Meadows will officiate. Burial will be in Huntsville
Cemetery, Huntsville. 

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

St. Johns Parish, 331 E. Second St., Delphos, OH 45833.
