" Bernice S. Maurer, 93,
of Lima, formerly of Findlay,
died Oct. 30, 1998, at Argonne 
Residence Inn.

She was born Oct. 1, 1905, in
Fort Recovery to Anthony and
Odelia king Bruns.  On Dec. 30
1924 she married Erwin
Charles Maurer, who died Feb.
29, 1992.
Mrs. Maurer was a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Michael
Catholic Church, Findlay, and 
attended St. Gerard Catholic
Church.
Survivors include two sons, 
Ewrin C. Maurer of Plano,
Texas, and Eugene T. (Shirley)
Maurer of Findlay; a brother,
Albert Bruns of Lima; two
daughters-in-law, Joan Maurer
of Lima and Bette Maurer of
Orlando, Fla.; 13 grandchildren
and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by
 a son, Robert B. Maurer; a
daughter, Sharon Ann Maurer;
three brothers, Walter, Leroy,
and Raymond Bruns; two
sisters, Pauline Doling and Evira
Bruns; and a grandchild.
Mass of Christian Burial will
begin at 10am Tuesday at St.
Michael Catholic Church.  The
Rev. Randy Giesige will 
officiate.  Burial will be in
Gethsemani Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4
and 7 to 9 pm.  Monday at
Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral
Home, Findlay, where a rosary
service wil be held Monday
evening."
