DELMER SHEPHERD
Delmer ( Dick) Shepherd 56, of 1017 N. Adams , died Wednesday at 11:00 a.m.
in Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient one day.   
Born Jan.15,1917 in Lima , he was the son of Cary and Nora Chambers 
Shepherd, both of 1017 N. Adams. 
He was married to the former Hellen McMullen, who survives
in Galion. 
Mr. Shepherd was a construction worker and veteran of World War
II. He was a member of First Assembly of God.
Also surviving are three sons;  Jerry R. of 2476 Stewart Rd., Donnie L. 
of 140 W. Kirby,and MichaelL. of Port Blancard, PA; one brother Floyd H. 
of 3080 Johnston Rd;  two sisters, Mrs Leroy ( Virginia) Gesler 
and Mrs Betty J. Farler of 2145 Old Dixie Hwy.; and 10 grandchildren. 
Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday in First Assembly of God. 
 Rev. Gilbert S. Harris officating.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends will call at the Lewis
Memorial Chapel Chiles and Sons-Laman, after 7 tonight.
