DANIEL S. SCOTT SR.

Daniel S. Scott Sr., 73,died at 4:40a.m May 15, 1998 at Lima Manor Nursing
Home. He was born Nov. 1, 1923 to Steven James and Jenny Goldsmith Scott.  On
June 21, 1952 he married Ann Pauline Miller, who survives.
Mr. Scott was a laborer for Neon Products and previously worked for White
Cottage and Lima Locomotive. He was a member of Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 1275,  
Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 370, and American legion Post # 96 . 
e served in the Army Air Forces during the World War II in Italy.
Survivors also include a son Daniel S. Scott Jr. of Lima ; three brothers
George Scott,  of Dayton , Perry and Alex,  of Lima; three sisters Mary Maxwell and Helen
Buchanan, both of Lima , and Linda Yant of Glendale, AZ. 
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Jimmy, Steve Jr.,and Charles
Lee Scott; and a sister Katherine Delph. Graveside services will begin at 1:00 p.m. 
Monday at Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Dick Coon will officiate. 
Friends may call from 11:30 to 12:30 p.m. Monday at the Wayne Street Chapel 
of Chiles and Sons-Laman Funeral Homes. Memorial contributions may be made 
to ALS_Lou Gehrig Disease or the American Cancer Society.
