LEONARD  C. SHEPHERD 

Services will be held at 10:00 a. m. Tuesday at Wayne Street Chapel Chiles 
and Sons-Laman for Leonard Shepherd 62, of 612 N. Metcalf St. He died at
12:16 p. m. Saturday at St.  Rita's Medical Center, following an extended
illness. He was born April 20, 1921, Celina, the son of Charles and Mary
Lou Herron Shepherd. 
On March 25 , 1944 he married  Betty Jean Wallace, who survives.
Mr. Shepherd was retired from Better Home Conditioning in Lima in 1975. 
Survivors also include three sons: Carl Shepherd,  David Shepherd, and Bill
Shepherd, all of Lima;  four daughters,  Mrs. Joe ( Donna ) Gilroy of
Waynesfield
and Gladys Shepherd at home; 17 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren;
and two brothers,  Roy Brock of Lima and Eugene Shepherd, of Alabama.
Rev. James Neighbors will officiate for the services . Burial will be in
Memorial
Park Cemetery. Friends may call at funeral home until 4 and 7 to 9: 00 p.m.
