RALPH C. ZERBE 

LAFAYETTE - Ralph C. Zerbe Sr, 85 , of here died at his residence . He was
born Sept 28, 1906 in Lima to John and Alice Harris Zerbe. On Nov 12, 1930 he married Opal
Shepherd who survives. Mr Zerbe was the owner of Zerbe's Paint and
Wallpaper. He was a member of the Lafayette Congregational Christian Church
and the Republican Party. Other survivors include one son,  Ralph C. Zerbe
Jr. of Lima; and one daughter Mrs William ( Shirley) Roeder of Lafayette;
11 grandchildren; 17 geat-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother
Raymond Zerbe of Summersville, S.C.; two sisters,  Mary Craig of Lima and
Bonnie Skinner of Warysville, Wash. Services will be at 11:00 a.m.
Wednesday at Chiles and Sons-Laman Chapel Funeral Home, with the Rev.
Robert Brown officating. Burial will be in the Lafayette Cemetery. Memorial
contributions may be made to the Lafayette Congregational Christian Church.
