Obit in Lima News Tuesday Dec. 15, 1959 
Lima Allen County, OH

Steven J. Scott Sr. , 67 518 E. High Street died at 10:00 p.m. 
 Sunday in Memorial Hospital, where he had been a patient 
for several months. He was born July 15, 1892 in Lamia, Greece.
He married on 12 JUN 1923 in Lima, Allen County to Jenny L. Goldsmith. 
Surviving are four sons; Daniel of 1306 W. Robb Ave., George of Dayton, 
Perry of 760 Runyon Ave, Alex and Steven J. Jr of 518 E. High St.; four
daughters, 
Mrs Katherine Delph of 621 Eureka St. , Miss Mary Scott of 518 E. High St., 
Mrs. Helen Buchanan of 937 W. Spring St.,and Miss Linda Scott of 518 E.
High St.; 
 two brothers Gus and James of Greece; 
one sister Mary Scott of Athens, Greece; 13 grandchildren .
Two sons preceded him in death, one in infancy and one was killed in World
War II. 
Mr. Scott was a member of the Greek Orthodox Church. 
Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Chiles and 
Son Chapel with the Rev. Willard Thomas officating. 
Burial will be in Memorial Park. Friends may call at  
the funeral home after 7:00 p.m. today.
