STEVEN M. SCOTT
Died: Sunday, September 05, 1999
Steven M. Scott, 38, Lima, died Sept. 5, 1999 at his residence.
He was born Feb. 13, 1961, in Lima to Steven and Dixie Hinson Scott Jr., 
His mother survives. On June 11, 1988, he married Julie A. Strayer, who
survives.
Survivors also include a daughter, Megan R. Scott, at home; a brother,
Darren Scott ,
of Alger: a sister, Diana L. Leedom ,of Lima; and his maternal grandmother,
Ruth Hinson,
of Bradenton, Fla.
Mr. Scott worked in maintenance at National Lime and Stone, Lima, since
July 1983. 
He attended Salem Mennonite Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and bowling.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at Wayne Street Chapel of Chiles
and Sons-Laman  
Funeral Homes.  The Rev. Mel Hathaway will officiate. 
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p. m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia Society.
