STEVEN J, SCOTT JR.

Steve Scott Jr. 58 died at 5:00 a. m. 17 Nov, 1997 at his residence. 
He was born on 26 June, 1939 to Steve and Jenny Goldsmith Scott. 
On Aug, 1960 he was married to Dixie Hinson , who survives. 
Mr. Scott was a metallurgical technician with Dana Corps. he attended Salem
Mennonite 
Church.
Survivors include two sons Steven M. ( Julie) Scott and Darren W.( Lynne)
Scott, both 
Danny Scott, Perry Scott , and Alex Scott of Lima, and George Scott of
Dayton, OH:
three sisters Mary Maxwell and Helen Buchanan of Lima:,and Linda Yant of
Phoenix AZ; 
and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers Jimmy Scott and Charles Lee Scott; 
and a sister Katherine Delph.
Services will be at the Wayne Street Chapel of Chiles & Sons-Laman Funeral
Homes.
The Revs Carl Johnson and Mel Hathaway will officiate.  
Burial will be Memorial Park Cemetery
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today and Wednesday at the
funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the ALS( Lou Gehrig Disease)
