Benjamin Franklin SIMKINS was b. 28 Jan 1831 , , Ohio; m. abt 1855, prob , Allen, Ohio Sarah Melissa LAMBERT, b. 8 Sep 1835 , , Ohio. They had 5 children in , Allen, Ohio before 1870 when they removed to Texas. The children born in Ohio are Charles Legrand, b. 23 Feb 1857; Oaker Leroy, b. 23 Nov 1859; Fuller, b. 8 Aug 1860; Deleann Elizabeth, b. 6 Mar 1862; and Cora Bell, b. 19 Dec 1868. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Am especially interest in their marriage date and the names of their parents.

BURGESS - I am trying to locate information on Ellis BURGESS and his family. Ellis was born in 1924 and died about 1951 in Lima. Ellis was the son of Harold BURGESS from Illinois. He had a brother named Earl L. BURGESS, Jr. and a sister named Phyllis, who married Raymond MCDONALD. I would love for anyone related to this family to contact me.

I am looking for information on Abbot CARDER, born April 13, 1833 , died April 13, 1916, buried at St. Johns Cemetery in Delphos, Ohio. He married Clara REINEMEYER on April 8, 1858. Children are John, June 30, 1865, Arthur, 1861, Matilda, 1866, Margaret, 1867, Thomas 1870, Pauline 1871, and Albert 1864. I am interested in finding out who his father was. I would also be interested on the childrens month and date of birth.

I am looking for information on the son of Thiobold and Louise MATTER who lived in Chicago. Thiobold died in 1924. They had a son named John Oscar MATTER. According to Social Security records he was born May 20, 1912 and died May 10, 1993 in Beaverdam, Allen Co., OH. I would like to know if anyone can find records that may show his wife and family. An obituary would be terrific. He also has a first cousin in France who would love to know what happened to John Oscar. John's parent's left France for America and his family lost track of John's family. I am also related and am working on my genealogy and am very interested. Thank you very much.

TARBUTTON, John, Lima,Ohio. I'm looking for information about my grandfather, John TARBUTTON. He was born in 1856 and died in 1923. His wife was Emma Dora Franklin Tarbutton born in 1861 and died in 1951. They had one daughter, Grace (Nov.5, 1880 to Nov.20, 1974) and four sons, Harlan (1885-1885) James, Ralph, my father, (Feb 10,1894 - Feb. 1985), and John.

Looking for parents of Maria(h) Jane CHURCH. She was born 5 May 1845 in Allen Co., OH. She married George W. ZIMMERMAN 12 Feb 1862 in Center Point, Linn Co., Iowa. They had 11 children, all born in Center Point: Clinton, Alice, Cara (or Clara, or Cora), Henry, Frank, Elizabeth, Florence, Arthur, Earl, Frederick and Walter, my grandfather. Maria was George's second wife. His first wife was Sarah Jane McFARLAND m. 14 Mar 1849 in Hardin County, OH, daughter of David SAXTON and Jane McFARLAND. They had 3 ch., G.W., b. abt 1850 in OH, Isabel, b. abt 1852 in OH, & Joseph, b. abt 1855 in Iowa.
