Looking for parents of Elizabeth Ann Trickle (c.1814-1838). She married William B. Laizure c. 1829. They lived in Nottingham Twp., Harrison Co., but the marriage is not recorded there. ORR, RUSSELL posted by Marylyn Pauley on Saturday, December 13, 1997

My great grandmother Jane Manson ORR came to New Athens from Baltimore in 1834 or so with her mother Anne RUSSELL ORR, and little sister with a teamster in a large wagon along the National Pike. They were joining Jane's father, Alexander ORR, born in Scotland, ca. 1789, who had moved to Belmont Co. ahead of the family to get himself establlished. Anne RUSSELL ORR died in about 1836 in New Athens or Carthage. Does anyone have a church record (Seceder Church?) or a cemetery record of her death? Was there a local newspaper in the region that would have noted her death? Thankyou.  Marylyn
