BETHEL, HOWELL posted by Charles Caldemeyer on Monday, May 7, 2001

My great-grandfather, David Wilson BETHEL, was born in Belmont County in 1860 to William and Mary Wilson BETHEL. He married Jennie HOWELL in 1881 and they had a daughter, Bessie O. BETHEL, in 1885. He left that family and started another one in Clarence, NY with my great-grandmother in 1888. The discovery of the bigamy put him on the run again in 1890; our last record of him is in 1897. Any information about David Wilson (he went by Wilson, and then 'Willis'), Bessie, Jennie, or any of our Belmont County BETHEL ancestors would be greatly appreciated.
