Jeffras
Farm Cemetery Primary Sources: The1960’s Stroup Inventories found in the Middletown Library and V Shewalter’s A History of Union Township Butler County Ohio- 1979, pg 97. Originally a farm burial ground and became the “Cemetery” for a Methodist Episcopal Church (1/2 acre in 1855). The first burial is supposed to be a child of John McMaken Jr. (No references in local inventories). It is thought that there are 30-35 burials though there are few readable tombstones and no burial records.
