Funeral Notice * Died at the residence of his father, in Bucyrus Township, William H. Summers, aged 22 years, 8 months and 6 days. The friends of the deceased are invited to attend the funeral services at his father's residence, on Sunday, Dec. 15th, at 2 o'clock, P.M. Carriages will leave Public Square at 1 o'clock, P.M., to convey those who desire to attend.

Died on Thursday morning at 11 o'clock a.m. George Edmund, infant son of D.W. & R.A. Swigart. Funeral from the residence of D. W. Swigart this afternoon at 4 o'clock. -
Bucyrus, August 17, 1855.
Died, on the 18th inst., of Consumption, Mrs. Robt. M. Hutchison, in the 24th year of her age.
The funeral services will take place tomorrow, (Sunday) at 3 o'clock p.m., at the residence of J. P. Black, one mile north of Bucyrus. The friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend. - Bucyrus, 0., May 18, 1872
The funeral services of Miss Naomi Boeman, eldest daughter of John J. Boeman, will take, place at the residence of her parents, tomorrow, Thursday, November 7th, at 1 o'clock, P.M. The procession will leave the house at 2 o'clock.
The friends of the family, and the public are invited to attend. - Bucyrus, Nov. 6, '67.
Died on Wednesday, 17th inst., at 6 p.m., at her residence in Bucyrus, of disease of the lungs, Elizabeth, wife of Silas A. Bowers in the 33d year of her age.
The funeral services will be held at the Lutheran Church on Friday, 19th inst. at 10 a.m.

The Funeral will take place today at 10 o'clock A.M. September 7, 1855.
Died on Tuesday, 25th instant, Martha Jane Pickering, aged 42 years, 5 months and 25 days.
The Funeral will take place from the residence of her husband on Poplar Street on Wednesday, 26th, at half past 2 o'clock, P.M.
Bucyrus, January 26, 1875.
Died on Tuesday, September 7, at 11 A.M., John Reiter, in the Seventy-Seventh year of his age.
The friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend the funeral on Thursday morning at 9 o'clock, from the late residence of the deceased on the Brokensword, six miles Northwest of Bucyrus.

Died, on Thursday morning, 17th inst., John Smith, in the seventy-third year of his age.
The funeral will take place from the Presbyterian Church, on Friday, the 18th inst., at 10 o'clock a.m.
Bucyrus, Ohio, October 17, 1872.
JOHN C. FRY was born at Sulphur Springs Crawford Co. Ohio, Sep. 27, 1836 and d. Feb. 3, 1911 at the age of 74y 4m 6d. He was the 6th in order of a family of 10 children born to John H. & Catherine Fry. His boyhood days were spent on the farm and in 1858-59 he was a student at Oberlin college fitting himself for
service as a teacher, and taking up a musical course; he taught a
yr. in Wyandot Co. and then left for Missouri teaching there until
the outbreak of the Civil War. He returned home and on 12 Nov. 1862 he was united in marr. to Mary A. Becker. They took up their home in the woods and began life's journey together. By diligence, self denial and hard labor they cleared and improved a considerable amount of land.
Mr. Fry was one of the founders and one of the principal financial supporters in organizing and building the Tabor church of which they were members until ca 1889 when they retired from the farm and moved to Tiffin, 0., and their membership was transferred to the Methodist Protestant church there. Since the death of Mrs. Fry, Jan. 4, 1898, he had made his home with his children. He is survived by 4 children: Eugene & Elmer of Cranberry twp., Crawford Co.O., Wm. Fry of Toledo,0., and Mrs. Minnie Hathaway of Lansing, Mich. Also 3 bro. & 3 sis, and 7 grandchildren. After an illness of over 2 months, caused principally from the infirmities of old age he was finally called to his long rest.
He was a good neighbor and a kind and diligent husband and father. He was widely known and respected and many friends remain to mourn his departure.
Funeral services were held at the Tabor church Sun. forenoon. Rev.W.D.Akers of New Washington, officiated. Burial in Union Com. near Sulpher Springs. Those attending the funeral from a distance were Mrs. Clarence Hathaway and family of Lansing, Mich. and
Wm. Fry and wife of Toledo, Ohio.
John Leonhart, one of the aged and respected pioneer farmers of Chatfield township, passed from earth to his reward at 10:3_ o'clock Sunday morning, His death occurring at his home. He had been in feeble health for about a year, but became seriously ill only a few days prior his death. He passed away peacefully and painlessly, like one who "wraps the drapery of his couch about him and lies down to pleasant dreams."
The funeral will be held Wednesday, meeting at the residence at 9 a.m. and going to New Washington. Interment will be made in the Lutheran cemetery, after which the regular funeral service will be held at the Lutheran church, Rev. D Ph. Ebert conducting the services.
Mr. Leonhart was the son of George and Margaret (Capst) Leonhart, and was born in Stark county Oct. 4, 1834 living to the age of 71 years, 11 months, and 26 days. His parents were natives of Alsace, Germany. In 1837 the family came to Crawford county, and here John grew to manhood, and for a period of nearly sixty eight years had been a resident of Chatfield township. At the age of twenty-four years he purchased a small farm and began life for himself. He was progressive, industrious and energetic, and as a natural result attained the highest success in his chosen avocation.
He was united in marriage in October, 1857, to Miss Elizabeth Ackerman. To them were born nine children, all of whom with their mother survive to mourn the father's death. The children are:
Catherine M., Jefferson, George W., William A., Matilda, wife of
Charles Foster, Gustavus A., Caroline E., wife of George Marquart, and Emma, wife of William Gangluff, and Franklin.
John Leonhart was a man widely known and universally respected. His excellent judgement was shown in his management of his own affairs and he was called by his neighbors to serve them in positions of honor and responsibility. This service was rendered faithfully and conscientiously, and was always valuable and satisfactory. He was a man of unbending probity, and worthy of the trust reposed in him by all who knew him. He was a sincere Christian gentleman, a member of the German Lutheran Evangelical church and a sincere exponent of the faith he professed. His work was well done until he had passed the allotted span of human life, and his strength had failed. He fought the good fight and kept the faith. Now he rests from his labors and his works do follow him.
