THE "POP SMITH" CEMETERY located on Biddle Road north of Galion
JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP, CRAWFORD COUNTY

These are pictures of the tombstones described in the Crawford County cemeteries volume one as being piled in the northeast corner of this now cemetery. They were taken by Mary Fox and Kevin Kohls. Further information on these burials may be found on page 135 of Cemeteries of Crawford County, Ohio, Volume One.

Mary says "The majority of the markers are now in a pile under a tree now so researchers might like to see the stones. The Lochbaum/Laughbaum family attended the Bedford County Pennsylvania shown in the picture of this preserved Lutheran and Reformed Church church. Mary believes most of the persons buried in the Smith Cemetery were United Brethren.
