Ohio Cemeteries ... Erie County

In 1866, according to the sign at the cemetery, St. Anthony's cemetery was formed. It is in Milan, and is literally right next to Milan Cemetery. Had it not been for the help of one of the nicest grounds keepers I've ever met, I wouldn't know yet where one ends and the other begins. He also told me that he enjoyed "taking care of the dead" and I got the distinct impression that he was saddened by the lack of visitors to the oldest of the graves in these two cemeteries.

St. Anthony's Cemetery faces Berlin Street in Milan. (This street runs off Mason Road, at the base of River Road.) It occupies approximately the first 2½ sections going south from Berlin Street.

While I don't have any transcriptions for this cemetery as of yet, I have some random photos of the cemetery to post here. I hope you enjoy them.
