Jacob & George LEONARD were brothers born in VA in c1775 and April 1777, respectively, who moved to Salem Township, Champaign County, Ohio sometime around 1805-1811. They lived and died in this township. Jacob died between 1830-1840 and George died in 1868. Looking at census records, it appears that Jacob's wife was Catherine (unknown maiden name). Jacob and Catherine LEONARD had a number of children, one being William LEONARD, born 1815. William married a Mary J. (unknown maiden name, born 1817), presumably around 1835. Also, in the 1830 census an 80-90 year woman is enumerated with George - is this his mother? I'm seeking the following information: Marriage Records 1. William LEONARD to a Mary J. ? , probably in Champaign Co., OH ca 1835 2. Jacob LEONARD to a Catherine ?, possibly in Champaign Co., OH ca 1807 Death dates (birth date/my estimation of when they died) 1. Jacob (c1775 / 1830-1840) 2. Catherine (1789 / 1850-1860) 3. William (1815 / after 1860, possibly before 1880) 4. Mary J. LEONARD (1817 / after 1860) 5. An 80-90 year female LEONARD (1740-50 / 1830-40) Any information about this family would be helpful, especially information about Jacob and George's parents. I greatly appreciate any assistance. Thank you.
