The following entries are taken directly from the Selma Methodist Church and cemetery records. While I read the inscriptions from the markers originally, I found that many of them are either very worn or not readable at all. I have relied heavily on the church records for dates to insure accuracy, however I have added inscriptions and notations from the markers. The notations in parentheses are from church and family records; and notations in quotation marks are actual inscriptions. There are many markers that are simply not there any more and I have made those indications where ever necessary. Also, while most of these family members are placed very close to one another, I have also made notations where some were buried with others to show that they may have been related and placed in the "family plot".
