Clark County, Ohio started issuing marriage licenses in 1818.

• Volume 1A:  May 1818-April 1821

• Volume 1B:  April 14, 1821 to October 31, 1832

• Volume 2:  November 8, 1832 to May 21, 1845 - Partial up to page 328 or 06-13-1840  

• Volume 3:  May 27, 1845 to April 9, 1854 - Partial Part I

• Volume 4:  April 21, 1854 to September 20, 1858

• Volume 5:  September 20, 1858 to August 5, 1863  Example marriage record looks like

• Volume 6: August 6, 1863 to January 8, 1868

• Volume 7: January 9, 1868 to March 1, 1871

• Volume 8: March 2, 1871 to May 20, 1875

• Volume 9: May 21, 1875 to November 9, 1878

• Volume 10:  November 13, 1878 - September 22, 1881*

• Volume 11:  September 22, 1881 to December 27, 1883

• Volume 12:  December 18, 1883 to August 19, 1886

• Volume 13:  August 19, 1886 - January 31, 1889  

• Volume 14:  February 2, 1889 to September 13, 1891

• Volume 15:  September 15, 1891 - January 31, 1894

• Volume 16:  February 1, 1894 - December 26, 1896

• Volume 17:  December 28, 1896 - December 31, 1898

• Volume 18: January 1, 1899 - December 31, 1900 (now complete through 1899)

• Volume 23: April 22, 1909 - April 17,1911

• Volume 24: March 25, 1911 - November 27, 1912

• Volume 33:  May 23, 1927 - June 22, 1929  - Partial

*This is not a complete volume.  There are no records available to us for this period of time, and we don't know what happened to them, but in our humble opinion they are lost.
