Cross, John Christy, John (only found footstone) I felt confident from following the DAR records for placement within the cemetery of illegible stones to assign them to respective persons. I used reynolds wrap a lot to decipher - at least a few characters to obtain a match. If the DAR listed the inscription as on “ONE STONE” with another and the stone was laying down - too heavy to turn, I assigned it to that stone anyway- knowing their name was laying against the earth. |
