Our summer picnic was held at East Fork State Park Turkey Ridge Picnic Shelter. Following a
pot-luck meal
and social hour, our speaker was Mr. Thomas Stander, of
the Butler
County Historical Society and a Fellow with the Association for
Gravestone Studies. Mr. Stander spoke on "Cemetery
Preservation"
and also provided us with a demonstration of "Dowsing for Graves"
at historic Old Bethel Cemetery. A great time was had by all.
