Am interested in knowing the name of the father of Isaac MONCE, who was born about 1837, served in the Calvary during the Civil War, died in 1902 and is buried in Blanchester. I believe Isaac was born in Union County, Indiana and that the family came back to Clinton County when he was a small boy. .

Seeking information on our ggg grandfather Josiah THOMPSON. We estimate his birth as abt. 1770. We need the name of his spouse, his death year, and burial place. We do know that his son, William THOMPSON, was born in 1798, probably in German Twp., Fayette Co., PA., and that William came with his father, Josiah, "in the eary days" from PA. to settle in Clinton County, Ohio. John Casseldine went to Clinton Co.,OH from Montgomery Co., KY about 1810. His daughters married Daniel EARLEY and Solomon EARLEY, Cornelius JOHNSON and James STUMP(F). His son John married Hetty MOTT all in early 1800's. Most were still in Clinton Co., in 1850 census then I lost them.
