Parents were George Washington GRIMES and Lucinda SHEROD, later of Perry Co. Ohio and Sterling, Nebraska. George's father was Dr. William GRIMES of Perry Co. I am interested in exchanging information on this family. .

EDWARDS was my great grandfather, and was born in Clinton County, OH on Sept 16, 1844. Both Jonathan & Mary were born in OH according to census records. Their other children were Susan J, Calvin D. and Louise E. I am seeking information on the parents of Jonathan, census records indicate that his parents were born in NC. Looking also for siblings, other family of Jonathan EDWARDS who was born abt 1815-1816 and died 26 Aug 1895 in Chatsworth, Illinois at age 78 years, 9 months and 26 days. Any information would be greatly appreciated. .

FORDYCE posted by Mary Stuart on Sunday, February 29, 2004: Ammom (Amnon) Allen and Anna FORDYCE were married in Clinton Co. Sept. 26, 1844. After that marriage date Ammon disappears. Anna goes to Indiana where her parents are. When she gets there she has 2 small children with her. Elvira (Elivira) born abt 1845 and Elmore born 9-16-1846 in Sabina (Clinton Co.). Am desperately wanting to find what happened to Ammon (Amnon). He was born circa 1825 in what is now West Virginia.
